Reminding Myself Not to Get My Hopes Up

OK so I mentioned that Eric and I are staying at my grandmothers house until Sunday. I weighed this morning and her scale said 282.4 which means I'm hovering at 8.8 pounds lost and I'm trying so hard to hit the 10 pound mark! Well then I got to thinking and I remember yesterday figuring out that her scale weighs me 2.2 pounds heavier than our scale does so if that's true then 282.4 minus 2.2 is 280.2 and that means from my original weight of 291.2 I have lost 11 pounds!!! Now I am thrilled but I am trying to tell myself that I have to wait until Monday morning when I can weigh on my scale again... But for now... YAY!!!!!!!!!!

We had a pretty uneventful night last night, we just made a broccoli, rice, cheese, chicken casserole, which was amazing (thank you meme!) And then we watched the Ranger's game which they won yay!!! Tonight though, I have a newborn photo shoot at 3 and then at 7 we are going to a concert downtown. It is at a place called Charlie's its a cool little bar and concert venue so if you are ever in Marshall check it out! I am almost done editing my photo shoot from Saturday. I just have a few more pictures to put the logo on. I also officially launched my new company yesterday! SA Photography is now Life's a Flash!

Well that's all for today. Its finally Friday and my half day at work so I will write again Monday. Hopefully with good news of weight loss!!! Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!

  3. Congrats!!! SO happy for you. Just found your blog and will be following it, as I, too, have just started a weight loss journey to change my life! That 10 pound mark is one of the best feelings, isn't it? I hope you love your elliptical once you get it as much as I love the one at the gym in my apt complex. I used to tell myself that I could only go for 5 minutes on it. Then one day I told myself.. What's 5 more? And that day I made it 30 minutes on the elliptical. It really is just a mind game, and it really goes stop hurting after awhile. Keep your head up, and remember that alittle progress is progress all the same!!!!!
