Hello August!

Wow! Where has this year gone? Its already August!?! I realized last night just how busy this month is going to be. I am finishing up editing some pictures from a photo shoot this passed Saturday, I have another photo shoot this Friday, I have a wedding next Saturday, a baby shower and a party the Saturday after that, the weekend after that, we are going to see my sister in law and her family, and that very next week is the last week of August and the week I start back to school. I love my crazy life but geez, August is looking pretty crazy!

OK anyway, regarding my weight which is the point of this blog, I am starting August 8.2 pounds lighter than what I started July! YAY!!! I still need to lose 1.2 pounds by Saturday to hit my goal of losing 10 pounds by this week. I've dropped more than that in a day so I know I can do it. We went out to eat last night and I hate some heavy food but it had been way too long since we had eaten at that restaurant so it was delicious! I made spreadsheets for each month that track my clothes size, weight, and how many glasses of water I drank each day. I am down 8.2 pounds and a dress size from July to August! I'm a very visual person so seeing it every day helps me.

We are staying at my grandmothers house this week while she and my uncle are gone on a vacation and she has pre-made some meals for us so through the week, I will post pictures of our meals. Another pretty uneventful day, but I'm sure as the month goes on I will have plenty to post about. Thanks for reading!

Lots of Love,

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Holy crap, that verse is so true! Food is a horrible horrible temptation, but with God's help, I will overcome it!

  1. You have to eat out every once in a while! Don't worry about it, just get back with your (new)normal routine the next day. Believe it or not, over time, you will stop craving so much of the bad stuff and start craving the good stuff. I'm always so glad to get back home from a trip, and all the eating out, to my own refrigerator. aunt robin
