Rangers Win!!!!

OK so I had this goal of hitting 10 pounds by this morning..... that didn't happen. But, I'm at 7.4 down and..... ONE WHOLE pant size!!!! I put on a pair of old shorts, they went up, and then they buttoned!! I couldn't believe it so I grabbed a pair of jeans in the same size and they went up and buttoned!! I was so excited, I woke Eric up from his nap to tell him. He was more happy for me when he woke up later on his own. :) We went to the Ranger's game last night so I wore my "new" shorts to the game. I was so excited and was even told by someone I know that they can see a difference and I'm looking good. That feels so good to hear! The Rangers won their game against the White Sox 2-0. YAY!!! We got home about 1AM so I'm dragging pretty bad today. OH! My grandmother gave us a cardio glide, if you don't know what it is, look them up. Eric and I tried it out and OH MY GOSH that thing is an amazing workout! We could feel it in our legs, back, arms, and stomach. OK so that's all for now. I'm going to work hard to hit the 10 pound mark sometime this week. I have a goal to fit into a dress in November for my sister's debutante ball so I need to lose about 40 more pounds by then. This blog is helping me considerably by keeping me accountable. I'll update again tomorrow.

This is the Weslo Cardio Glide. It doesn't look like much, but it is an evil evil machine!

This is the dress that I am going to make sure I fit in by November!

This is the back of the dress but obviously it will be in the coral color not white.

  2. You are doing great! Like I said in my blog you can't be disappointed by not meeting a specific goal- goals are great to have because they keep us motivated but don't let not reaching one demotivate you or make you feel like you didn't do your best! 7.4 pounds is awesome always look at the progress you made not the progress NOT made. You have a long journey and even if it goes really slow you are making the journey the right way and creating new habits to last you for your lifetime. I find that if I give myself a specific time frame I will end up getting overwhelmed and disappointed and quit so instead I give myself goals that aren't related to an amount of weight or a specific time frame. KEEP IT UP LADY
